Event Planning.

NYE MOTO has a proven track record of hosting and growing events.   NYE MOTO serves as agents for the Tellico Overlander Adventure Destination, aka TOAD’S PLACE in Tellico Plains Tennessee.  NYE MOTO is part of the management team for March Moto Madness, the oldest Adventure / Dual Sport rally in the United States.  NYE MOTO can help grow your event or plan your special occasion.

GPS / Navigation

My background includes offshore navigation.  I started with a sextant, then Loran followed by sat-nav which is now know as GPS.  Eventually I came ashore and was the IT director for a company that owned and operated a fleet of ships.  I introduced the company to E-Mail and taught the CEO how to use it.  I’ve been using Garming devices since their first motorcycle GPS.  I’ve presented seminars on using basecamp.  I use Google Maps to create a route, then convert it to a .GPX file to download to my device.  I offer one on one training on technology in person or via Zoom.

NEBDR Support

The Northeast Backroad Discovery Route (NEBDR) is a 1,300 mile ride on mostly gravel and dirt with some technical sections using Vermont’s class IV roads.  It starts in Hancock, NY and ends just north or Rangeley Maine.  NYE MOTO is based in Chester, Vermont and is 250 road miles from the start and only 210 from the finish.   Services offered include overnight camping with meals, guiding and moving your equipement.  Leave your truack and trailer at the start and I can ride my bike, load it in your trailer and transport it to our camp for a mid-ride check in or deliver it to the finish in Maine.

Training.

NYE MOTO offers private one on one and small group coaching for riders of any motorcycle for any surface.  With private coaching everything it tailored to the individual rider.  Unlike a group class the drills are paced to include plenty of time for feedback.  With one rider instead of 10 the drills are easily completed by lunch.  We continue the training after lunch with a ride tailored to use the skills practiced on the range.

Transportation

NYE MOTO offers enclosed bike transportation throughout New England and beyond in our  Sprinter van.  Call us at 765 BEEMERS to schedule pick up and delivery.  We can assist with cross country shipping of your motorcycle from New England to Las Vegas, Nevada via Haul Bikes.  We transport your bike to their terminal in Harrisburg, PA and you meet it in Las Vegas.

Trip Planning.

I leverage my extensive experience riding North America to help riders plan their bucket list trip.  Thanks to riding in the Iron Butt Rally five times if it’s an iconic destination for riders, chances are I’ve been there.  When riding for Yamaha I had a co-worker who lived in California comment that I knew his state better than he did.  Let’s discuss your dream ride.
